The king and his men marched to Jerusalem to attack the Jebusites, who lived there. The Jebusites said to David, “You will not get in here; even the blind and the lame can ward you off.” They thought, “David cannot get in here.”  However, as David stood at that wall he raised his eyes and confessed to his God that with ‘your help I can advance against a troop, with my God I can scale a wall.’  God granted David victory.

Walls in life is a common experience to all man… and for one to live a victorious life there will be moments when you need to scale or leap over  a wall for you to progress forward to your God ordained destiny.  Therefore, irrespective of how sturdy or high the wall is, the Word of God gives hope to those who trust in God .

Like David, place your trust in God and confess in your thoughts, word and action …‘With your help I can advance against a troop, with my God I can scale a wall’ Psalms18:29.  Doesn’t the Word of God say, ‘No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us?  Romans 8:37.  I pray that as you advance towards fulfilling your God given destiny that you will affirm to self that ‘I can do all things through Christ which strengthens mePhillipians 4:13.

Like David, may you live to testify that “The Lord is with me; he is my helper. I will look in triumph on my enemies.  It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man”. Psalm 118:7,8
