A Story is told of one vibrant young man in the LORD who was promised something if only he puts a ‘lid’ on his excitement for the LORD during  church services.  The promise of this accomplishment was a most desired pair of Boots.  Right from the beginning of the service through to the middle…the young man with great effort contained the words of praises flooding his heart; but there came a point during the sermon when he just could not hold it in anymore! He stood up and bellowed ‘Boots or No Boots’ PRAISE THE LORD!

Likewise, You and I as Christians do find ourselves in a situation similar to this young man…  because of a need to get or kept a prosperous job, a desired business partnership or investment, a longed for relationship we experience a ‘tape’ being placed on our mouth about God.  In such a situation …the Words Praising the goodness of the LORD Jesus Christ or sharing the word of God are muzzled least we give offence or  in need to be ‘politically correct’ within a given setting.

The Word of God says that ‘God is faithful to the faithful’ Psalms 18: 25.

God raised Joseph to being the 2nd ruler in a foreign land ‘and Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, but without your word no one will lift a hand or foot in all EgyptGenesis 41:41-44.   God also raised Mordecai the Jew to 2nd in rank to King Xerxes pre-eminent among the Jews and held in high esteembecause he worked for the good of his people and spoke up for the welfare of all the Jews. Esther 10:3   These men purposed to honor God with their lives and they confessed their respect for God… even in moments of great tests.  Their stand in life was to please God.

Christian, let us take a position in life of… gain or no gain, I will praise God; friendship or no friendship, I will praise God; favors or no favors, I will Praise God.    The everlasting God  deserves our praises and honor on a continually basis ….. it should flow like a river from a heart that Reverence God.

It is through our words and actions that we offer praises and honor unto God.

Praise the LORD, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word

Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will. Psalms 103:20-21

Praise the LORD, all his works everywhere in his dominion.  Psalms 103:22

Praise the LORD, O my soul.
